Can you tell us a little about the day to day activities of a tank crew?
Anything you choose to say will be appreciated.

    Thanks

I would like to bring this topic back up, simply because I am as curious as Sturmtiger on this. Please, Mr. Chester, honour us with your comments.

    Hello everybody,

I look in every day and the promise to post a piece about the day-to-day activities of tank crews has not been forgotten - as previously posted I am engaged in putting down as many of the North Irish Records, from both World Wars, as I am able to track down. The photographs of documents, particularly from WW I, have required the use of a powerful magnifying glass. Anyway, as this is a WW II Forum, the Battle Reports (all 150 pages) as well as the War Diaries may well be of interest to the members. For these and others items thus far completed go to:

    As ever,

    Gerry

Glad to see you back, Gerry; I was becoming concerned about you. :D

Thank you for your concern, it is much appreciated, Hopefully, in about a week I should be done with the current project (three-finger typing slows me down) at which time I will be able to do more than just taking a daily peek at the latest postings in the Forum.

Today is given to reproducing some photos of the NIH taken before they moved to England - Valentine tanks and Humber Armoured Cars.

    Regards,

    Gerry
