New WW2 Forums member Heydon sends in this engaging tribute to Major Heydon Buchanan, the inspiration for his own name. Heydon joined the site just about a week ago and was generous enough to share his research on Major Buchanan, covering the period before, during, and after his service.

The postcard depicts Major Buchanan standing in front of a cluster of captured German artillery pieces, including a pair of 10.5 cm leFH 18M howitzers.

For those members who haven't read Heydon's story I suggest they do, it's a good read.
