Hello all. My name is Andrew and my chosen forum name is deephorse. It’s a name I was once called by a work colleague many years ago when she mixed up dark horse and deep when describing me! It’s unlikely to be used by anyone else so I stick with it on many of the internet groups I join. I’m retired now and have had an interest in things military since around the age of ten. I live in the U.K. and served 6 years in what was then called the Territorial Army. I had to give it up because of time constraints once my career got started. My primary area of interest in WWII is the European theatre and the German forces. I’m a wargamer, modeller and collector of military books of all kinds.
