Two part drama on Hitler started on the History Channel Last Night. 9.00pm GMT. Robert Carlyle started as Hitler.

It showed a half hour of his time on the western front and concentrated the rest in the five year period between1918 and 1923. Very interesting.

Any Hitler experts out there see it what did you think?

I watched it —and taped it, of course—, months ago.

It was very good generally speaking. [IMG] Robert Carlyle did a very good job, but Peter O'Toole as Hindenburg was magnificent!

However, I still feel they should have focused more on other stuff rather than Hitler's relationship with the Hanfstaengls or on Gehrlich's 'resistance'. The Röhm affair was too lightly taken in my view.
