hi I have requested my Grandads records from the RAF but there is no Squadron details - how can I find this out many thanks

There's also our sister forum ww2 talk which tends to concentrate more on things British. That doesn't mean you won't get an answer here but it may come faster over there. Do let us know if you find out from another source. The two forums really pride themselves in helping with this sort of thing so better or additional sources are always welcome and of interest even to the relatively uneducated in that regard like me.
