I thingk I have read a few unusual or border line BS ways to kill a Tiger

Like the one in a thousand/million / billion 12.7 mm round..

How about synchronized ( by radio) simultaneous multiple shots by a 75 mm short barreled Sherman gun to the lower front left side where the driver sits, thereby temporairly immobizing the tank for other actions.

Or the white phospourous round, scaring the occupants out.

Or the sticky bomb satchel charge..

I dont stand by any of them, I am just throwing out a few things I have read or otherwize heard.

    Bazooka from behind

    feel free etc...

    Any funny ones

lol - in 'Commando' comics, the brave Brits / amazing Americans / courageous Canadians (etc etc) always knocked on the hatch. The German crewmen would open the hatch to see who was knocking, and recieve a grenade in their lap.

all worked at one time i guess

with the exception of knocking all have killed tanks at one time or another. check out the russian antitank troops and how they did it. those guys were tank hunters and used a lot of different weapons. everything from shaped charges [ why do you think the zimeret paste was developed] to cans of gas. all hand carried and used at range 0.

Um, to lessen the chance of magnetic charges sticking to the tank's hull?

As far as I'm aware (cue debate on whether I am aware... :D ) it turned out to be a wasted effort as none of the allies really produced much in the way of magnetically-attached AT charges.

I agree, the germans had a shaped magnetic mine that was very effective. Being concerned for their own vehicles they developed zimmeret to counter it. This stuff was then pasted all over their own vehicles at the factory. It apparently added a fair amount of weight to the vehicle as well.

However the US and brits never develeped any type of magnetic mine and thus the whole job was wasted. I don't know if protected against sticky bombs though.

Not sure if the ruskies had a magnetic mine either. I doubt it, it would have been cheaper and easier to just get a comrade to hold the mine on to the side of the tank

I heard a bunch of American Rangers perfected the technique of slipping in through an open hatch unnoticed and just started brawling with the Tiger crew.

Just one that note would the idea of a paint filled round to blind the enemy tank work or would the force of impact spread it too thin?

The only tanks I've ever even seen the inside of could hardly be described as big enough to have a fight in, infact the only tank I've ever even been in was cramped enough to be claustrophobic, and I was 11 at the time so there was a lot more space around than would be the case now!

To destroy russian tanks, the japanese used a soldier inside a foxhole with an aviation bomb and a hammer.
Could it work against a Tiger? :D

Don't see why not, provided you can convince an American to blow himself up like that... ;)

Could get expensive - 1 bank vault getting you 1 Tiger, wonder what the exchange rate would be for a Panther etc?
