    Tax return? If I do it myself I get about 20$ back...after going to a tax agent...they lie!!! Get me 2-300 hundred dollars...but lie!!!

    I try not to let the government hold my money interest free for several months. I usually have to pay a relatively small amount, or on occasion will get a small amount back. In the latter case, I'll probably blow it at the local watering hole.

    Just like every year, I'm blowing the entire wad on beer and cheddar cheese.

    Or I might buy a massive NAS (Network Attached Storage) unit to properly backup my files. I do like cheese though, tough choice.

    The money in my savings account is effectively interest free. It doesn't bother me to lose a buck 2.98 in interest.

    2-300 bucks (Canadian) woo hoo. Will prolly go to paying my outrageous phone and cable bills.

    Vaguely remember a joke about a guy in a store who said something along that line.
    It was a tad racist, and in todays climate here (snowflakes) maybe it should not be told... Bummer.

    Haven't heard back from the CPA yet. I turned in my returns with all attachments about a week before the deadline. She said that they'd file an extension and get to it when they get to it since they are sneauxed under that late in the season. Last year I got about $2K back, so I hope that I'll get back close to the same amount this year. If and when I get the refund, I'll make a deduction for myself and get a steak dinner with 4, 5, 6 - 10, 12 maybe 15 beers or so down at the local watering hole. The rest will go to pay down on several credit cards that seemed to have run themselves up again.

    Putting a new swamp cooler on the house. My old one is rusted away. Got a nice return this year with a baby to add in the mix. Almost makes it worth it. I say this while just getting done mopping up baby barf around the couch at 11:00 at night.....
