I have a Water, maybe Milk Pitcher with Nazi Ensignia, need more info !??

Hi ALL!
My Polish family came over to the US in 1952, both my parents have passed away ,my father back in 1969 and my mother in 2003, Both were in the work camps on a farm. They married in Belurus. I really don't know much, they didn't talk about it, I think this was typical of the time, my loss.

Anyhow......there has always been this Galvanized pitcher floating around my basement for years, I really never paid attention to it. I just decide to clean it up,maybe do something with it, maybe a large vase ! So I started to clean it up.....low and behold I find a Swastica with an Eagle with the letters "HU" and on the bottom of the handle I find "HRE/36". It stands 15" tall.

I'de like ANY information on it, any at all. I suspect they brought it over with them. I still have the trunk they shipped there stuff over with. OR, the correct forum to post this.
