Did anyone get this book yet? Does it seem or perhaps it is worthwhile? It is on Kindle for 6 USD. I have read most of his naval books but curious about a land-based excursion. Perhaps something insightful about Arnhem? I have read a Bridge too Far. For that price, I guess I should just order it. Gaines

..to tell you the truth, I don't usually ''look'' at the author when I get a book--which is usually at the library
..I've got Anthony Beevor's Arnhem book right here--but his name is huge-- on the cover
..I picked it up last month for the anniversary and just keep renewing it

This one does seem strange - I can't find it anywhere except as a Kindle script. I can't trace any reviews, nor does it seem to be available in London bookshops.....o_O
