    could somebody identify htis plane (attacking German convoy in the Channel)

    Probably. It seems to have elliptical wings.

    Hurricane, too, a robust fuselage and look at the structure of the tail.

    I'd agree with Hurricane, that tail is too chunky for a Spit

    It looks like a Hurricane. The wings are not enough far from the nose.
