    Naw I was leaving that one alone LOL. He pretty much has said it all with this "The gap between Iceland and Norway would be too wide to be effectively controlled by land-based aircraft, and the German navy couldn’t fight through the British navy to land supplies."

    You just mentioned what Admiral Cannaris wanted to do, he wanted to occupy Iceland, Azores, Canary Islands and Faeroh Islands (sic) this would prevent convoys east to supply Britain and Soviet Union, but this plan also was in conjunction of the completion of Germany's Z-Plan.

    All I was doing was cutting JCF short of posting up this one off the list of scenarios he was already putting up one at a time..... An "Old West" tactic: "Head 'em off at the Pass!"

    LOL It was a nice try though T.A. :rolleyes::p . But I wasn't going to on that one. Too obvious why there is no "What If?" there LOL. Though some here think there is LOL :rolleyes:. I may have posted the one on Turkey entering the war when Germany was on the ropes though :p.
