    Das Reich,

I have not read much about the PTO either, but I will recommend one of the few books about it I've read, it is just excellent:

"The divine wind", Rikihei Inoguchi, Roger Pineau and Tadashi Nakajima.

Do I have to tell you what is it about? The both Japanesse authors were Kamikaze officers, nearly the creators of this weapon. It is a superb book. I highly recomend it. ;)
