It's that time for pre-spring cleaning, the yearly WWII Forums Inactive Member Purge. Early in every year I go though the membership records and search out all the members that registered over a year ago, in this case prior to 2005, and have zero posts. These user profiles are deleted to keep the file system tidy and running faster. This time around 107 user profiles were sent off to the gulags, so you will probably notice that the Forum membership number dropped from 1,239 to 1,128. This is a more accurate reflection of the active membership, or at least members that have contrubuted at least one post to the Forums. And the obigatry purge quote: "To choose one's victims, to prepare one's plan minutely, to slake an implacable vengeance, and then to go to bed ... there is nothing sweeter in the world." - Josef Stalin
