Just in time for the jump to the new server, the yearly WWII Forums Inactive Member Purge is going ahead. Early in every year I go though the membership records and search out all the members that registered over a year ago, in this case prior to 2006, and have zero posts. These user profiles are deleted to keep the file system tidy and running faster. This time around 107 user profiles were sent off to the gulags, so you will probably notice that the Forum membership number dropped from 1,486 to 1,373. This is a more accurate reflection of the active membership, or at least members that have contrubuted at least one post to the Forums.

    The obigatry Stalin quote:
"To choose one's victims, to prepare one's plan minutely, to slake an implacable vengeance, and then to go to bed ... there is nothing sweeter in the world." - Josef Stalin
