You know what Iowa class means in Japanese? "I am so screwed!"
Especially when Yamato and Musashi and aircraft aren't around.
The Iowas? Paa! Their the boy band of the battleship world. What you need is the Nelsons, ships that cause the enemy gunnery officers to poke out their own eyes.
Doubt it, Ebar. No offense, but Nelson had a speed of 21 knots, relatively inferior rolling characteristics, and were much older. The Iowas went 33 knots no problem, better manuverability, and were newer. And they were the only ones to ever have missiles. Unless this is sacracstic and you're just noting the Nelsons' 'bad looks'?
Just a joke. Given that the Iowas were built twenty years later than the Nelsons, and a much larger displacement they would have had no excuse for not being better.
By that grin emoticon on that post, I'd have figured it out. But if there was a battleship that really got enemies to blind themselves on sight-that would be the ultimate ship-even if it had a main armament of ten 2 millimetre BB guns.
Before or after they got done laughing?
