Perhaps not much to say about the chassis ( M.13 ) and crew protection had a lot to be wished for. But the gun, the Cannone da 90/53, has been described as being comparable to the famous '88' as an anti armour weapon.

I don't have any reliable stats for the gun, but what do you think?

This gun is not mentioned on GunsVsArmour, unfortunately.

AKirk's Tanks has the following to say about the gun:
The gun was orginally developed as a naval cannon and was a native Italian design very similar to the famous German 88. The gun even had a higher muzzle velocity than the 88 and was adapted/designed specifically for use against Soviet armor.

    No penetration data there either.

the crew protection of most italian tanks left a lot to be desired, but at least this had a useful gun!

If hitted, the rivets that holds the armored together will wreak havoc within the turret.
