Italy instead of France?

    What if the Allies concentrated on Italy only instead of France? The Allies were already very close to conquering Italy, so what if the Allies landed on Italy and pushed north to Germany? Most of the German defenses were concentrated on the French coast, so the Germans would have been taken by surprise. Any opinions?
