Might anyone be able to give any opinions why my clock has the winding knob at the top of the clock at the 12 o'clock position and not at the 6 o'clock position? Ones I've seen in photos of clocks removed from the cockpit of Japanese WWII aircrafts show that the clock worn by Japanese pilots from a parachute cord around their necks show the knob in the 6 o'clock position. See photos. (My clock is the one on the left).I'm just wondering if maybe during being repaired the instrument was set upside down. Any information will help.
