    I should introduce myself.

I'll be 57 at the end of September.
I live in Norwich, England, but am originally from the centre of the Universe (that's Liverpool to the rest of you!).
I was a Civil Servant for over 32 years before taking early retirement in June 2001.
I suffered a heart attack in August 2001, and had a triple bypass in March 2002.
I mis-spent my youth playing rock guitar in groups in the night clubs of Liverpool from 1969 onwards. If you are interested, go here: Main Page @ splinterliverpool.bravehost.com - A Bravenet.com Hosted Site
I met Anne Jackson on my 21st birthday (she became my 'rock chick') and we've been married for 33 years.
We have 2 children (one aged 30 in October, the other aged 28). Our son has a son, Myles, who will be 3 in December, and a daughter is due in October.
I support Everton Football Club. The cross I have had to bear throughout my life is that my son supports Liverpool. Yes, he turned to the dark side!
I love Gibson and Taylor guitars.
I also have an interest in the Messerschmitt Bf 110.

Welcome aboard John Vasco! :salute: Thanks for the background info.

To receive high praise from our Erich on being an aviation authority is doubly impressive. Cheers!

I just added the photo you sent me to the Rogues Gallery, you can access it via my signature.

A very warm welcome indeed to Mr Vasco !

'An interest in the Messerschmitt 110...'
is a splendid understatement ; my prized original copy of 'Bombsights Over England' is a keystone of my Luftwaffe bookshelf.

( And I'm still looking forward to seeing a colour profile of Rubensdorffer's aircraft....;) )
