Land fort's

    Hello,

    I am playing HOI2 (not Doomsday). Is there any air mission that will destroy (or reduce) land forts? I am playing a game and having a hell of a time capturing Gibralter!

    Installation Strike.
    Though it dosn't work very well. May I suggest blockading Gibralta with you navy and starve it out?
    Just use a naval unit or air group and choose bomb convoys.

    And send some ten division at them while you're there... It usually helps :)

    Paratroopers help too. And attack from multiple sides.
    Use a combination of paras, seaborne invasion fleets and several land assaults and you should overcome it.

    If you leave fleets in the seazone outside, does that stop (or reduce) supplies? Even if they are not on the "bomb convoy" mission?

    In the end, I moved most of my airforce there and bombed it for about a month (installation, logistical, and interdiction), and then did a marine/paratrooper invasion (Portugal happened to be ally which provided a handy airbase!).
