Who can find out the largest tank ever produced? It was made by the Russians, It is very strange looking for a tank, and was produced during WW1, although it never saw service.

(BTW, it is not the Mendeleyev which was the heaviest.)

I think it was the P 1500, even thought this monster was a German WW2 tank, and it was never built. It was supposed to be 35 meters long and 14 meters wide, which is quite big - for a house.

Or was this Russian thing even bigger?

I believe it was called the "Tsar-tank" or something similar. Looked like a giant tricycle with a gun on top.

The "Mendeleyev" was never built, they actually built a prototype to this one.

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAArgh!!!!
It's not just the biggest, it's also the strangest tank ever!
And that rear wheel looks very vulnerable, I must say. i'll bet it's better that this thing was not actually used...

Until it opens fire... That is, if it can actually fire, with any accuracy, from that turret.
What were these Russians thinking? Did this beast see action? How tall was it, anyway?

It was never armed with weapons, but it did have mountings for 7.62mm machine guns and several cannons. And it did have armour, but the armour was only stated as resistant, which to what resistance means I do not know. :D

It looks plated, or at least bolted. BTW, does 'several guns' mean a lot of guns on one of these monsters or several different types of guns that were tested to fit it?

I'm not to sure, but I would think 1 type of cannon because of the simplicity of ammo and ammo capacity..

    Nice pictures, Skua!
It seems that the model is a different version of this tank than the one on Zhukov's drawing, as it has side sponsons with MGs that the drawn tsar tank lacks. Impressive armament there, BTW.
