    Hi,

I'm looking for information on Churchill's trip to Moscow in 1942. In particular I'd like to know how he actually traveled from England to Russia, given the state of the continent at the time.

Along those lines, is there a British equivalent to the State Department's series Foreign Relations of the United States? That series has wonderful day-to-day log documentation for the Tehran conference in '43, and I'd like to find something similar for Churchill's trip to Moscow.

    Thanks in advance!

I suppose he flew the route:

    ...Gibraltar, Cairo, Teheran and Moscow.

    from

...In August 1942, he was the navigator on flights made by Winston Churchill to Gibraltar, Cairo, Tehran and Moscow.

Thanks for the reply. It seems like they probably must have gone the long way 'round.
