    Hello WWIIF,

I'm beginning a series of diorama projects using 1/48 aircraft. I try to have an eye for uncompromising authenticity. For the next projects, I'm searching for pictures of Japanese aircraft in the Fall and Winter.

    I'm focused on two scenes:

    1) A G4M1 parked on an icy airfielld; in particular the Aleutians or the Home Islands
    2) a scene with pink cherry blossom trees near a Japanese aircraft an the homeland

Does anybody know of any photos depicting these?

I think the 48 was called the Dragon? (from memory) made a model years ago of this aircraft and even modelled the engine starter truck..

Your probably thinking of another Kawasaki aircraft, the Ki-45 Toryu "Dragon Killer". There was also the Mitsubishi Ki-67 Hiryu "Flying Dragon".

The Kawasaki Ki-48 was sometime called the So-kei(Sohatsu Kei-Bakugeki-ki, which translates roughly to Dual Engine Light Bomber).

    So many great pictures here!

The B6N pictures are really nice.

Are there any pictures of Betties on ice?
