Luftwaffe oxygen bottles

    Hi fellows, I thought I'd make you Luftwaffe collectors happy by sharing these two August 18th 1942 dated Oxygen Bottles with original leather strap, buckle and rubber pipe still on them. The painting is 100 percent original too. :D

    bump ... Erich would kill for these . The date is August 12th 1942, not 18th as said in my intitial post

    yes you are quite right Skip, gorgeous condition and I could put them in an awfully nice display in my office, my grand-kids would ask " what's up with those Opa ? " the sotires they could tell am sure...........

    This was before cleaning Erich, you should see them now with the shiny copper and clear markings. Am i glad I have these, they fit so well with my tail wheels.

    they are wonderful with clearing stamping on the bottles Skip, also any dates anywhere on the fittings or tanks ?

    Not sure, they look like any modern fitting and they even turn. Could the carve under the buckle be an eagle?

    yes it appears the top half could be an eagle from your scan ~ head and top of wings and then an imprint would of been placed under the eagle-swastika
