    Hello everyone,

I am a paratrooper MP reanactor with my best friend and
were planning to buy a m1a1 carbine with folding stock(paratrooper version).
But we have not really a idea how much it costs.(No shooting version).

For a "De-Clawed" version, I can't "see" them going for more than about $300.00 if even that? "Live" ones don't go for much more than that-depending on rarity and condition of course.

300 will be pretty cheap in Europe , I'd rather aim towards the 400-450 price.

If that is for a dewat-that is an insane price. Anyone stupid enough to pay that price-should be whacked in the head with the butt of said Carbine. The sad thing is, is that there appear to be a lot of stuipid people out there.

I think i'm going to change my signature quote sometime-to one from John Wayne-which is: "Life is hard. It's even harder when your stupid."

They are. I can't site any specific dealers of them who might have a Carbine at this time but-you might try The Collectors Guild-which is in Canada-they have them quite often-as well as George Petersen from Petaluma California. There are many other sites that have them as well-just Google dewat firearms or a derivitive thereof-and you will find them.

Thing is, if your living in a place that you can get a live-firing one-buy that one instead. I shy away from dewats because to me-they are completely useless and can only be used for Clubs-which is akin to using Stoneage-Caveman weapons.

However, the exception to the rule for me is-if I find something like a dewat .35 Cal MG-or MG-34 or something of that nature? I CAN use dewats of those. As for anything else-hell no I will not waste my money on "dead" firearms.
