Who said? Do you mean the M2 Carbine?

The M2 was the selective-fire variant of the M1 carbine, and a 30-round magazine was adapted for standard use. Developed in 1944, Inland designated it as U.S. Carbine Caliber .30 M2 (T4).

OH really?? So far I have found no reference to a US weapon by the designation in WWII of M2 in .45 caliber that looks like a Thompson other then a Thompson. The M3 "Greasegun" being the closest in caliber. So how about where you heard about it and what was its official designation? Or is it some Videogame weapon. DUH. Other WWII M2 designations M2 Carbine,M2 tank,M2 "Ma Duece",M2 Bazooka,M2 Ammo,. Provide the source of your "Information".

and also I said it was never made wich would then prove you were wrong on that one because the actual variant was never produced

And now I have proved you are a liar. You never said it was never produced. Here is your original quoted statement. You stated,

    [IMG] m2
they said there was supposed to be a model m2 that looked like the thompson  but later was found to jam alot:eek:

I asked you who "they" were and what the M2 was. You have provided no more information then that. You have done nothing to prove me "Wrong".

well I forgot it was field tested but when they found it had to many problems so it never made it into the hands of the united states army so there fore proves that you were wrong I was righs this looked exactly like a thompson but like I said before it was tested but was found to be ineffective

Listen kid. Nice try. You still lied and you have still not provided any sources or information that is verifiable. You have no credibilty. Give the name of the company that field tested it? When was it "Field tested?" What was its official designation? Where did you come across this information? Photos of it ? Statistics?

Nice excuse there kid. But that doesn't cut it. You made a statement here stating it as a fact and you can't back it up. I asked you for more info. Then you lied. Simple as that. You might want to reread what you posted and see where you starting digging the hole you are in now. Not a very good start here on the Forums.

So Sonny Jim. How can you discuss a "weapon" that you "saw" in a photo once with no other details?
