Author question: Can anyone describe or give me a link to an image of a Magnetic Anomaly Detector screen on an American ASW aircraft?

Not sure what the A-scope of a RADAR set has to do with the AN/ASQ-1 Magnetic Airborne Detector...

The MAD was mostly read from a recorder, lie those seismic recorders that detect earthquakes. Although, a remote signal meter is mentioned, I have not been able to find any good photos of one.

Basically, everything you want to know about the AN/ASQ-1 can be found here: http://www.dtic.mil/dtic/tr/fulltext/u2/b810592.pdf
