what a pinpoint story that is<>''good thing he had enough fuel'' to burn the Japanese, or he would be dead<>.....I don't think a lot of people can realize trying to dig out and kill almost every one of the 20,000 determined soldiers who are trying to kill you!...very good story here....here's a pic of my co-worker who was with 3-9 [ USMC in Gulf war ] on Iwo Jima around 89'..and a pic of the island as they were ''asaulting'' Iwo in amtracs..sorry for the pics, it's the 80s
