Martin Geier, 8th Beach Battalion

I wanted to share this photo I just obtained from my Aunt. My grandfather, Martin Geier, was with the 8th Beach Battalion. I don't know anything about his time in the Navy, he never spoke about it. I only know he was in the 8th Beach Battalion from his discharge papers. I don't even know what company he was in. He is standing in the second row, dead center. I hope some of you might enjoy seeing this photo. If anyone has any information for me, I would love to hear from you.
