I'm quite happy to have my Parents and my brother's family joining me in Texas this year. Having spent all my previous Christmasses in northern locations like Chicago and Toronto, this is a very different experience for me. I saw a lizard run across my front patio today, not something I ever expected to see on a Christmas Eve.

The kids gifts are wrapped and tucked under the tree, a dozen good IPAs are in the refrigerator, and a 20 year old tawny Port is ready for sharing tomorrow.

I do have the falling snow turned on right now, hopefully a few of you can see it if your browser agrees to show it to you.

A very Merry Christmas from Texas to the good Rogues of the WWII Forums. :santa: :salute:

And a very Merry Christmas to you sir, and to all here on the forums. Christmas Eve dinner was good as ever, spent with my son and his family here at our house in South Central Pennsylvania. My wife cooks dinner here on Christmas Eve, then about 10:30 Christmas Morning we drive the 8 miles over to their house for the day. We open presents here Christmas Eve and the two boys, 13 and 16, open theirs on Christmas Morning. No white Christmas here this year, but maybe just as well for those that have to travel. Best of health to all in the New Year!

My Mom's mother, and my sister and her husband are here visiting today, it's most definitely not a white Christmas here in the valley of Phoenix, but it looks to be a beautiful day! Merry Christmas to all of you!!

Merry Christmas to all here. Otto, a warmish Christmas is routine for us but a bright day at 57 degrees is delightful. No lizards here. I did see a beautiful hawk while walking the dog. Just Jeannie and I, our daughter and her husband are in Idaho and are Federal workers but plan for Government shutdowns so are fine. They have not planned for cannibal hordes but are well armed enough to survive in case they head north.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Merry Christmas all. We have a family tradition of gathering Christmas Eve that's more than 70 years old. We hosted this year with over 30 relatives. Food, drink, and good company. Today our daughter and her family joined us for brunch than off to my sister-in-law's for dinner. Exhaustion us setting in.

Yeah, I suspect Christmas in the Southern climes is a bit different from what you may be accustomed to. I have a screen shot on my phone from Christmas a few years back where it was 80 degrees then another from last year where we got a touch of snow. This year is closer to norms, with highs in the upper 50s/lower 60s here. Good horseshoe throwing weather.

    Merry Christmas to all!

Nothing says "Christmas" like a leisurely drive through the fresh snow...

It was a very good Christmas for my family. Went from kids house to kids house (to eat and deliver presents to the grandkids), then hit parents on the way home. Hope everyone else's was as well.
