Lionel Messi has announced he will leave. Practically only Manchester City with Saudi money could buy him. We shall see.

Bleacher Reports says that is where he wants to go.

Manchester is already crunching the numbers concerning Financial Fair Play regs.

Yes the Money figures are bad. However City is selling some 6 players and Messi can possibly have a free transfer. Originally the clause closed in June but Corona might change the free transfer timetable.

I'll believe it when I see it. Remember he was going to retire from international games when Argentina lost to Germany in Rio? They talked him down then. We shall see.
Besides, I don't root for Barcelona because of him, I root for them because my mother's family traces back to Catalunya.

Messi's contract expires next summer. He has been really angry about how things have been handled during the last years. We shall see if he leaves or not.

Messi took his first red card in the Spanish supercopa final after some 750+games for Barcelona.
Athletic Bilbao won after extra time 3-2.
