It took some time, but I was able to locate my grandfather's (William Weber 17th Airborne, 194th GIR) and my fiance's grandfather's (Raymond Woznicki 36th Inf 111th Combat Engineers) military paperwork. There are some confusing aspects of Raymond's I was hoping someone could help with: On one of his Enlistment Records under Qualification in Arms, I am not sure what the "M" stands for, and and on the other one, I'm guessing that was for Rifle Sharpshooter? Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated! (don't know how to post them within the post, so I made an album)

I would quess M stands for Marksman. In one document it lists the EAME w/5 stars and 2 arrowheads. Only one arrowhead can be displayed.
On another form the Combat Infantry Badge is noted. This would qualify the soldier for a Bronze Star Medal. He would have to have applied for it after the war.
