    Hello

Have started a new website, beside my Royal Artillery ones.

This one is about missing soldiers in the Netherlands during the period 1940-1945, a great part is about Arnhem 1944, but have decided to spread it out to 1940-1945, Allied and German forces.

I have already some people helping me out, but as i quit a bit of research, any kind of information/documentation/photographs, about a missing soldier in the Netherlands would be most welcome, so feel free to contact me.

    Cheers Philip

Been having a look around the Scotlandspeople website for you.

Robert McCracken of the 2nd Oban Anti Tank married his wife Ann McIntyre Graham in 1933 in Strachur district, Argyll. Ref # 534/2 1. His Death Entry ref # in Service Returns is 152/AF158. Is there any middle name from Robert to narrow the search for his birth details?

Robert John Crawford's Service Return ref is 152/AF96 and I believe he was born 1911 in the Govanhill district ref 644/16 136.

Thomas Bethell married his wife Jessie Sexton McClure/McClymont in Troon 1942, ref 590/2 66. Don't believe Thomas was born in Scotland. No birth details for a Thomas and there is no service return for him either.

No Will recorded for any of the above. Sometimes if you're lucky their Wills are available to download via the same site.

Sorry Mutley, no middle name known for Robert McCracken.
