I had an Italeri P 51 just like the one below, not painted as good as that one btw. My 3 years old nephew propably considered it as a threat to his panzers, it is broken into pieces now.

I built a few planes, Spitfires and Bf-109s and whatnot, when I was a kid. I don't know what happened to them, but I still have a Tamiya 1/35 Sturmtiger, which I'm very proud of [IMG] I built it a few years ago, and have been planning on buying more models ever since, but I never seem to have the time to even get started [IMG] But I definitely will when the time is right

I don't have the patience these days to make kits ( and they always seem to get broken.... :( ) but I do enjoy collecting 1/72 diecasts.

Here's the 381st BG's B-17F 'Sweet & Lovely' sitting on what remains of the main runway at Ridgewell where the 1/1 scale version flew from in WWII...

I was trying to find information on the Nuffield-Napiler-Heston racer and came across this web page. It has some excellent models and lists some airplane movies that I have not seen before.

The Nuffield-Napiler-Heston looked like it had potental for being a good fighter.

Martin, I truly love your photos, they always look great, and like the one above, they always have some significant aspect to them. Cheers!

I'm not much of an artist unless I'm using a mouse as my brush, and even then I'm not very good.

Thanks, Peppy - problem is, laying flat on your front on a wet piece of tarmac can draw some odd glances from passing farmers.... :(

Though not strictly modeling, do any of you use those 1/285 scale AFVs?
