Mortars

    Here are my "light" heavy weapons.
    A German Mod 36 light mortar and 2 frog Mle 37s. All are 50 mm.
    The carrying case in front of the tubes is for the frog Mle 37.

    Two questions Sarge: 1. Aren't these under the same regulations as machine guns? 2. Do you have, and can you get, ammo for these?

    Yes. These are classified as destructive devices and must be registered under NFA unless dewatted by having a bore sized hole cut in the tube.
    I have a few disarmed rounds of both the long & short types, to include a carrying can holding 10 rds for the long type.
    Can't find any photos of the ammo can, but here is one of both rds for comparison.
