My Father would like to say thankyou to those who sent messages of kindness..

For those that sent me, get well wishes for dad, Especially Carl, Erich, Jason, and others, he thanks you for your kindness and concern and appreciated it very much, and in what has been a difficult time for him, having had been diagnosed with a lung tumour that was malignant, and told by the surgeon that he did'nt want to be the one that killed him, so you can see the last few months, toing and froing from hospital to hospital had dads world all upside down, seeing no solution that carried less risk, but surgery it had to be, as the radilogist was to concerned about it too, and that surgery or radiology could kill him, he decided to take the risk, as without it he certainly would die within a yr or so, so today he comes home after 1 week of operation, and WWII vets prove to be tough as old boots, tough fight and hard battle, and that is my dad, at 89 tomorrow he deserves a happy birthday for sure, as we did'nt expect him to survive surgery, let alone make it, my thanks to all the good guys/gals here ...S!:S!

fully understand Erich, it is hard, and it looked that way too for him, but fit he must be..

 

well we will keep pullin for him, you and your Familie Ray, God's speed, now tell him to get the heck out of the hospital right now and start walking .......... don't want any of that viscious pnemonia to set in like it did with my own Father, he could not leave the Hospital he was so F***ed up inside the fluids would not leave his lungs

 

sorry to hear that Erich, and it is sad to see it end like that, dads here with me now, came out this afternoon..
