Well I think it is major clue time.
These tanks were sent to Kummersdorf in 1942 to compete in trials designed to find a new reconnaissance vehicle for the eastern front to replace the existing armoured cars and half-tracks. It went up against the Daimler built VK1303 and lost.

OK it was perhaps a tough one.
It was a Panzerspahwagen T-15 (Skoda T-15)

Try this one for size..

 

Light tank model 1934, made by Vickers/Armstrong, one of 42 with conical turrets delivered to Belgium, armed with a 13.2 Hotchkiss, 3.8 tons, renamed the tank leger T-15. 40 mph ?

 

That's it, I thought I would be cheeky and follow one T-15 with another. Good excuse to show this lovely picture of one in action though
