With a character named "Otto" in the film I couldn't help but be self referential there. I totally agree with you on the quality of that film, but ever since the release of another film named "Stalingrad" in 2013, we need to refer to the film as Stalingrad (1993). A pity the 2013 version is such an abysmal offering.

I do know the answer to your query, but I'll leave it for others.

    Here's hint #1:

    It was a comedy.

OK @A-58 , kicking this thread back into action.

The film is "The Secret War of Harry Frigg", I'm certain that it.

"100 knife wounds goes beyond normal patriotic zeal."

This is from a film I recently watched again on the DART (a local Dallas commuter train). Very good writing and dialogue in this one.

I think you are mistaken......it sounds to David Niven-ey to be anything but, ergo you are mistaken

I think you are mistaken about me being mistaken, and I'm never mistaken about my mistakes.

Yes! A very underrated film in my opinion. +1 to the film for an evil Peter O'Toole, and +1 to the film for a Nazi Omar Sharif.

The quote in question can be heard in this promo at 39 seconds:

    Your turn slip.

If you are feeling sorry for yourself, I can throw you in the Cooler for old time's sake? You can re-count all the days you etched on the wall in there, that might tie you up for few weeks at least.

It's been awhile since anyone has been in the cooler. Has it been remodeled?

Why settle with the Cooler? I, for one, ascribe to the KPGGTSM (the Klink Philosophy of Greater Glory Through Superior Management). A case study appropriate for this situation is shown below:

Yes, why yes it has. It has the highest of accommodations. Block walls, concrete floor, peeling paint, clanky doors, drafty barred window, almost absent mattress and lumpy pillow, cold gruel, and the pièce de résistance, surly guards in noisy boots outside the door.
