    Wanted to give a shout out to the records center in St. Louis. I sent a request about 2 weeks ago requesting information on my father. I then settled back for the loooong wait for info. I received the info via mail and it was the info I wanted, too!!

    Hopefully this is a normal response time.

    That is fantastic! so very few and far inbetween do I hear about people getting positive/information from the NPRC rather then a letter about their family members information being lost. My grandfather it took them about 1 month to send me a letter that they didn't have his records, and it took them about 2 months to send me my fathers records, so consider yourself lucky, or you caught them in a "down time" (as if one exists for them)
