    My Great uncle John Spawn had fought in WW2 he was in the 166th Newfoundland Field Regiment. Sadly that is all I know. If somebody could dig things up I would appreciate it so much.

    One thing though, I found this: 166th in Italy History(2nd ed)

    Not by him, but it was written by another Vet.
    Im sure you all know how I feel.

    Thanks for that, also more information: his full name was John Wilson Spawn(possible one more l in wilson) and he helped operate the artillery guns themselves. I am not sure of what the Artillery was he used though.

    Please help me!
