I was given a helmet from my grandpa and he said that he received it from one of his friends back in the 60’s. It is claimed to be from World War 2. I have looked everywhere online and I cannot identify it. It looks like it could possibly be a polish military helmet, but I am not sure. Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks
    Jim

    EDIT: Suzie beat me.

Might I ask where you are from? That helmet looks like it had a long journey.

Here is Franco himself ( much later in life) wearing the same insignia on his cap.

Thanks so much for your help! I have been looking everywhere for any indication of where this helmet came from. I am from Chicago, IL, my grandfather came from checkoslovakia and got the helmet from a friend. I have no idea of its origins. Really cool though. I was thinking of selling it, but now I might keep it. I am guessing it is probably rare to find in the US.

It says Unsupported browser detected, but I can click on the link and see the photo. So, to answer your question, yes.

The second post All I See is an X where the picture should be, I just wanted to see the Picture;)

The first link is great plus well done site. Ok I just read I saw the link when I scrolled down,
    that's not the same Badge.

There's nothing to get squeamish Concerning WWII or Second World War actual documented facts.
Yes that's what many have claimed, also due to Hitler was injured in the abdomen and lost one,
not only them I heard others also, I even found a link calling Churchill a Hermaphrodite, LOL
I always looked at this as a pattern,LOL

Spanish helmets are quite easy to find in Europe but I can imagine they are rare in the US. I would definitely keep this relic and not sell it.

Squemish.. your talking about how Hitler and Franco lost one of their :baseball: 's.

fact or fiction... it's weird, hehe

so did anybody check if Mussolini only had one :baseball:, because there seems to be a pattern with axis leaders having this problem...

hey Spaniard, did you know Napolean only had one too :D

ohh boy, what a pointless conversation this has been. :eh:
