    Hello all, I need some help with a cigarette case I just picked up. It is marked 1945 Bamberg German and has a symbol that looks like an "X" over a "V" in a circle. I will try to upload a picture. Can anyone tell me what this symbol is?

    Sounds like a US occupation zone object. Would need to see a picture.

    Found out it is the United States 15th Corp XV symbol. Looks like the took Bamberg in 1945.
