Exactly. If he hires a general manager then things might be run a little smoother. Though the past couple seasons they have been doing pretty good, they have had some bad losses and very bad showings in the playoffs. I personally feel that they are going to lose in the first round of the playoffs. A friend of mine who's into the NFL a little more than me feels the same way.

Of the three games can watch this morning: Washington/ NY- pfft who cares.
Started fliping between Miami/ New England and Buffalo/ Green Bay. ..Pats are destroying Dolphins, but the Packers game is good. Would like to see the Pack come back and win. Rogers only had 2 picks all year, today has 3. Plus a blocked field goal by Bills...

Packers vs. buffalo does sound like a good game to watch right now.

Looks like the Browns haven't solved their offensive woes after getting beaten by Cincinnati today 30-0.

Geeze, a shut out. That hurts a team. Maybe the Bengals can do something.

    Afternoon games here:
Hawks/9ers- going to watch this unless game goes down toilet. Want Seattle. Great stadium/fans/noise.
Bronco's/Chargers...Hope both games are good. Thumb will get sore flipping channels.

Looks like the Saints will survive tonight. Last I checked they were shutting out Chicago 21-0 in the 3rd quarter.

I feel bad for the Eagles after their rough loss last night against the Redskins.

Lol. Well I have come to a decision about my team. The Eagles have two major struggles that somehow they were able to knock out nine wins while covering up.

    1. They have no franchise qb. As a fan that is very scary.

    2. They have an awful secondary cb tandem.

Let's hope for a positive offseason.

The good news is the Eagles play the Giants on 28th. Eagles lead in most important stats, but go into it losing 3 straight. Extra bad news is they have to play in NY. Will prolly make a lousy game for neutral fans. If Eagles get an early lead, home stadium will shut up. Could be a blowout.

Wow! Cincy with the big win last night over Denver! They're definitely going into the playoffs!

Kinda weird Playoffs this year, glad my 'boys won their Division, but what happens next is anybodies guess. Looks like anyone can win or lose these days.

Good stuff, Smiles...What is the feeling in Cinci? ..
Was at a party for that game, and the jerks wanted to watch hockey (booring), but managed to catch (lo) a few plays between arguments. ..Really thought Denver was going to win.
-Tried to watch football, and a hockey game broke out.

Its for once a little optimistic in Cincy. Although I don't exactly live in Cincinnati (I live a few miles south in Kentucky), there's obviously a ton of Bengals fans around where I live, and for once people are getting their hopes up about their chances in the playoffs. Although we all kind of know how that usually ends up.... :evillaugh:

That victory over Denver really raised everyone's hopes, but in order for them to actually do good, they have to play like they did against Denver for the next two weeks.

Now that they lost to the Steelers and lost their division I don't really know what the attitude will be around here.
Also Jim Harbaugh parted ways with the 49ers after beating Arizona, possibly going to coach the Michigan Wolverines who really need a coach that will bring prominence that it once had.

Cinci plays Colts on Sunday. Both exciting teams. May the best team win.

I have a feeling though that the Bengals are going to have a similar showing like they did last year....

Why am I not surprised to see the Bengals getting creamed by Indianapolis 26-10 in the playoffs? Hmmmm....

I'm just going to throw my thoughts on this out there, but since this is like the third time that this has happened, the Bengals in the playoffs are starting to become a joke.

Andy Dalton is only an average QB. Marvin Lewis is an average coach. Those two factors lead to average teams who make the playoffs and do nothing. As long as there are fans in the seats and product sales keep producing, no reason to change the mediocrity. It would drive me nuts as a fan. My Eagles fell to that under Andy Reid and they made a coaching change which changed the culture of the locker room and the organization; I hope.
