Just curious if someone has seen one before and how much could this be valued?

I think it looks nice but perhaps not any true link with military forces...??

'ges. Gesch' is often found on German items of the period and is sometimes confused with RZM marks, RB nos, etc.

It actually means that the item is protected by patent ( eg 'legally protected' or, as we may say in the UK/US, 'trademark' ). It's a nice item, but it could be private purchase.....

It appears to be a souvenir rather than anything military. the shape of the astray makes me think of a 1950s-60s period item.
