I seem to recall that during operation overlord they issued a basic information booklet to the officers, composed of maps of the surrounding villages. Containing a list of a village's mayor and buildings of importance in the village. I was wondering if anyone here knew what it was called and if it had been uploaded to the net?

I'm sure it's out there somewhere but searching google with the keywords: Normandy, maps, ww2, overlord is rather vague.

There are so many documents in the museum it's hard to keep track. Either way it's a nice trip.
