Here are a few pictures that were taken while on one of our visits to Normandy.

This display of Jeeps was in a farmers field at Colville sur Mer 2004. :silly:

A German BMW Motorbike with Sidecar.

Half-track Personnel Carrier in very good condition, the noise that this truck made was unbelievable..

A different view of the Norwegian re-enactors who had a great display of equipment.

An American staff car, not sure if this was a Packard??

A supply truck carrying its MG just above the drivers cabin, a big impressive motor.

Nice shots and some quality exhibits.
My dad and I got lost in Coleville trying to find Pegasus Bridge. There were no exhibits that day, but the weather was doing a good impression of 6.6.44 !

Nice pictures Jim, just looking at these few pictures of a few Jeeps, weapons etc, can make the imagination run a little wild, such an array of equipment in one farmers field makes you realise the kind of armoury that was around in 1944. :thumb: Can you imagine this x many farmers field. :wtf:

Incredible pictures, you could almost feel the spirits of former soldiers talking through them . I wonder what my uncle would say about the pics if he were alive today :).

The photos are really nice, and the vehicles and other stuff - on the one hand - are kind of moving in their own way. On the other hand (and this is, by no means criticism - just comment), there's something odd about how peaceful a setting surrounds the trucks, tents, and other things. Somehow, the photos give one the feeling that these items "can rest now".
