    I sat in a P47? !! AND a P51 ?

Ah, life is good. Another than the 8 inches of snow I had to plow and shovel today. Where the "H" is this Global Warming they're talking about ?

I'm really getting to hate the Internet. Turned on "Location Services" and promptly found out Google maps gave me three choices to 'arrive at your destination'. One was 20 miles longer but 2 hours shorter drive time. Funny thing is I've been driving these routes for 40 years and there isn't 20 minutes difference ! Plus the location showed I was standing 6 miles from where I was ? Even then after trying several times the phone app showed my position but maps started me out 5 Miles away with a couple hours difference drive time. Turned off the "location service" !
I sure wish the tech heads would stop 'improving' something that's used to work just fine.

Hot damn ! Computers are great !
Posted the previous post in the wrong thread (Cool Pix), and was actually able to figure out how to move it here.
Still hate the tech heads and their 'improvements'.

Great Movie...Some serious weapons and fighting abilities...The Mohawks were hard core. I take my hat off to those indigenous warriors, and those that had to fight them.
New Zealand has one of the most fearsome Indigenous fighters...Maoris. A silly notion, but imagine Mohawk against Maori!?

Most Western cultures no longer have outlets for young boys coming into their power...Sport is the only outlet.
Here School boys in New Zealand give a deceased teacher a rousing send off...A place to focus their burgeoning power as men...

    Damn it all to Hell

Nine US service members were killed after two helicopters with the 101st Airborne Division crashed late Wednesday in southwestern Kentucky, officials said. There were no survivors.

The two HH-60 Black Hawk helicopters crashed around 10 p.m. in Trigg County near the Tennessee border, officials at nearby Fort Campbell said early Thursday. They were taking part “in a routine training mission when the incident occurred,” the base said in a statement on Facebook.

The helicopters were medical evacuation aircraft, and it’s believed the crash happened while they were flying and not during a medical evacuation drill, Brig. Gen. John Lubas, deputy commander of the 101st Airborne Division, said during a Thursday morning news conference at Fort Campbell.

My cousin's daughter was a flight surgeon on Blackhawks with the 101st in Iraq (retired now as a Lt. Col.) and possibly knows members of the crew.
