Half Track. Send me a private message. I have a feeling I will meet her sooner. If you want to say a special something but then again your prayers could have met her.

Actually, it's a wooden glider replica built by an ex-Komet trainee pilot.

The last Komet flew in the early 70s on the British air show circuit before being put in a museum.

A rocket replica was proposed, but AFAIK, the project fell through.

Good that you made the video wrong. I was in the beginning surprised the 163 did not go straight up but I guess your explanation tells us the truth. Cheers.

I like it. then there are the ones who make the sun go away:

'Stalin is a Genghis Khan, an unscrupulous intriguer, who sacrifices everything else to the preservation of power … He changes his theories according to whom he needs to get rid of next.'

Ever wondered why you don't mess with a Chimpanzee?
This is Mongo...He and his father have alopecia and are both hairless...they were put into an enclosure with other Chimpanzees and were quickly accepted, indeed Mongo became leader...without hair you can see the build of these creatures...no gym in sight.

I read they had the power to rip your arm off. So no monkey games with the chimpanzee.

Chimpanzees' musculature is so dense they can't float or swim. One "pet" chimp here in the US killed its owner by ripping her face off.

No one was killed, and it was a friend of the owner that was attacked.

The woman was severely disfigured, blinded, and lost both her hands.

I hate monkeys. And for the 'purist' , Apes too.

Having said that: It was Minus 43 degrees this morning. That's Celsius OR Fahrenheit take your pick ! :n95:
The inside of the refrigerator was 85 degrees warmer !

I've only seen them at Zoo's and the smell is rather "off-putting" for one thing. There's just something about Simian's that gives me the Creeps.

Kind of like Clowns. Clowns are inherently evil.

I'm presuming that was air temperature and not wind chill ("wind chill" is very popular with Minnesota meteorologists). I've quit watching the weather reports. I find that knowing how cold it is only makes me think about how cold it is. At a certain point, it's just a matter of how quickly you turn into a human popsicle. ;)

For the record, I am ambivalent when it comes to monkeys, apes, simians, etc.

I loved it that the spacefaring races are reduced to the most elementary science, four basic "elements", none of which are elemental.
