Interesting that Dragon have now modelled 'Poteau' figures in 1/35, 1/16 and 1/6 scale series....

Martin in reality these chaps were not all wearing camo smocks-uniforms correct ? Did think a couple were wearing the field greys ?

I'll give Dragon the benefit of the doubt here, Erich.

The three men ( 1st left, 3rd & 4th ) were wearing the Waffen-SS type of camo smock, 2nd left ( 'Poteau Man' or Walter Armbrust ) was, if you closely, wearing a captured US poncho and US over-trousers, hence the different colour on the box art.

True, there were all sorts milling about at Poteau including Fallschirmjager, ordinary panzergrenadiere, etc.

Shame on me ;) found the lurking guys in Battle of the Bulge then and now on pg's 209-224.

yes I see the difference. Two guys with the 1944 camo uniform and others with the camo smock and the poser mg gunner with the sig in the mouth.....

    thanks

Another good place to view these pics is in the Brassey's title 'Nuts! : The Battle Of The Bulge' by Goldstein, Dillon and Wenger. Despite looking a little like a 'coffee-table book', it does reproduce the entire sequence of photos in correct chronological order.
