one of australia's homeland defence lines

    in my little home town called dorrigo away up in the mountains of northen
    new south wales inland there is another little village about 40 min drive
    from dorrigo called .ebor. and a little drive past the town there is a old ww2
    line of defence old trenches tank traps and dragen's teeth this is in the so called the new england national park part of the great devideing range
    the local people try to keep it all clean and tidey nilly a endless battle bue
    to the bush takeing over
    another part of our local histry is the forteen km of twisting mountain road that links us with the coast pacific side back then this goat track wos fully
    mined to be blown in if the japs ever got that far into .aust.
    i cam remember my grandfather allan elem.telling me as a young child he remembers seeing jap submarine's off a place called .iluka. this place beaing
    in northen nsw a fisherman at the time his brother died in africa
    anyway will try and get some photo's of this defence line near my home town
    and put them up here for all to see will try and find some more local histary
    if there is any to be found in a little country village cheers for now .mark:eek:
